Hi, I’m Elliot.
I’m a photographer based in Norfolk, capturing honest moments, genuine connection, and natural light across weddings, portraits, and family events.
My obsession with photography started early, heavily inspired by my Dad and his own passion for the craft. Growing up, I learned to see the world through a lens long before I ever picked one up professionally. For me, photography isn't about staging a picture-perfect version of life—it’s about documenting the real thing. Whether it’s the quiet split-second before a wedding ceremony, a character-filled headshot, or the chaotic energy of a family session, I’m driven by creating images that feel effortless, atmospheric, and uniquely yours.
The Story So Far
My journey with a camera began in London, working as a part-time freelance photographer. Immersed in the pace and creativity of the city, I learned to adapt quickly, chasing natural light through urban streets and capturing fast-moving events.
Life eventually led me into a ten-year career in venue and hospitality management. Managing high-stakes environments, orchestrating major events, and looking after thousands of guests taught me invaluable skills that directly shape how I work today. I learned how to read a room in seconds, anticipate key moments before they happen, and make people feel completely at ease under any circumstance.
Stepping back into photography full-time was the natural next step—bringing a decade of event expertise, people management, and photographic precision together into one seamless service.
My Approach: Documentary Heart, Cinematic Eye
I believe the best photographs happen when you forget the camera is even there. Heavily influenced by cinema, I look at every session with an eye for composition, mood, framing, and light—landing in the sweet spot between unscripted storytelling and relaxed direction.
Documentary at Heart: For most of your day or session, I step back and let events unfold organically. I focus on the candid interactions, the spontaneous laughs, and the subtle atmosphere that give a story its real emotional weight.
Relaxed Direction: I know almost nobody loves being told to "act natural" in front of a lens. When it is time for portraits, I gently guide you into comfortable, flattering light and natural interactions—never stiff, rigid, or forced.
The result? A collection of images that feel authentic, cinematic, and true to who you are.
